Tino Belli's career as a racecar designer and engineer has taken the Welshman from rallying to Formula 1 to IndyCar where some memorable and iconic cars have sprung forth from his mind. As a member of the Verizon IndyCar Series' competition department, Belli has overseen a number of projects, with the most celebrated coming in the form of the new Universal Aero Kit.

With the publication of his autobiography, American racing legend Hurley Haywood has opened chapters of his life that were largely kept private in a professional career that spanned 1969-2012.
In his return to the Marshall Pruett Podcast, Haywood brings us inside his fascinating midwestern upbringing, how being drafted into the Vietnam war halted his momentum as a sports car driver and altered his outlook on life, the role Peter Gregg and Brumos Racing played in his development, and Gregg’s battle with mental health issues that eventually led to suicide.

Standing at the precipice of his final race, Scott Pruett visits the Marshall Pruett Podcast to discuss his life growing up in Northern California, his family’s heavy influence in the 50-year career he’s about to close, the extreme importance karting played in his development, getting his first shot as a pro in sports cars, the move to Jack Roush Racing that changed his world, the fierce—and sometimes fisticuff-laden--time in IMSA GTO and Trans-Am with Willy T. Ribbs, Paul Newman, and other legends of the era, and his one-off Formula 1 test with the Larrousse Calmels team in 1987.
Part 2, spanning his time in IMSA GTP and IndyCar, will be the subject of the next recording with the 57-year-old phenom, and more episodes will follow to capture his peerless career.
