Take the first in-car audio ride with the brand-new Corvette C8.R, courtesy of Corvette Racing.
With the mid-engine supercar being readied for its debut in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the team placed our Marshall Pruett Podcast audio recorder directly between the 5.5-liter V8 engine's exhaust pipes, and with the trio of Antonio Garcia, Jordan Taylor, and Nicky Catsburg flying around the high banks of Daytona International Speedway during testing, the unique pitch created by its flat-plane crankshaft is captured creating a clear sound separation from its front-engine predecessor, the title-winning C7.R.

Posting lap times around 1:47... not too shabby! Toward the end of the 2016 Daytona win, Garcia ran 1:44 flat! I pray they do well in qualifying this weekend.
